Meet Amy, your paper artist!

Amy's mother fostered her creative talents, allowing her to pursue multiple creative avenues simultaneously. From a young age, she was sewing, making rugs, x-stitching, weaving, and drawing. She was given her first point and shoot camera in 3rd gradeĀ as a birthday gift and ever since, she has been told that she has a natural eye for layout, color and composition.

In her junior year of high school she took her first art course. By senior year of high school, she wasenrolled in the art program at the local college. It was at the college where she fine tuned her basics and had her first real technical training. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island having studied psychology, sociology and studio art.

After college, Amy settled temporarily in her childhood home of Henniker NH. At 22, Amy was given her first SLR camera and it became her faithful companion. Over the next 2 years, Amy met a number of people who scrapbooked as a hobby. While Amy thought that their work was beautiful, she couldn't bear the thought of cutting her photographs.

In 2004, after a visit with her friend in California, Amy realized that she had amassed over 1,000 photos. She and her friend decided tocreate scrapbooks of the trip, which they would later exchange. Amy was hesitant, but after the first couple of layouts, she realized that she had a natural talent, and she was having a good time. Since 2004, her fun with scrapbooking has never waned.

Amy currently resides in Miami with her husband, and their 2 dogs.

When not creating beautifulworks of art, Amy creates beautiful memories while practicing martial arts and spending time with her family and friends.
